Okay? Konami is definitely a company that would and I had my reservations about that so whatever I guess

 

I dunno, Konami has been doing fairly well gamewise the last few years. What in particular sticks out to you as egregious?

 

They have but this is a rather new thing for them after years of bad decisions so naturally I’m gonna be apprehensive a little bit. It’s also a remake of a beloved game so it really only had two choices: Stick the landing or fail. I wasn’t sure how that was gonna shake out but in a positive way, these reviews showed that my reservations were for naught ultimately so that’s a good thing really.

 

All versions run like ass and pc version is gimped as fuck.

I’m assuming this game is gonna get some patches based on this, shame about that performance mode on the base PS5

Just zero interest in MGS without Kojima.

 

I'm willing to allow for other people to do something interesting with the franchise. Will they be as batshit as Kojima? Probably not. Who could be? But they might still make a fun game worthy of the name.

I used to be pretty adamant that people shouldn’t remake Kojima games but as time has gone on, that’s subsided a bit. I don’t think people can ever really replicate his style but it’s also more interesting to see them do their own adaptations rather than copying and pasting, that’s where I’m at with it at this point.

 

I was fighting King Fuoco and he’s a fun fight and I had him so close to dying he was like a sliver away from dying. His fight is really teaching me how to dive into attacks and the handle I’m using has perfect block which helps me when I mistime stuff.
