I don't believe you.

 

It seems like my PS5 is having issues playing DVDs. Blu-ray and 4k play fine, but DVDs which are from North America and my PS5 region is set at North America all say "To play this DVD, change the DVD region code of your PS5." Anyone ran into this issue before?

 

Seems like a bug. Change it to something else and then change it back?

Well the crunch part sucks, but I can never tell if people like or don't like Callisto Protocol. I haven’t played it yet.

 

I like it but the general consensus skews negative. That said it sold badly and so did every dead space, so why would you give this guy money?

I did it. I have completed Octopath Traveler 2.

That final boss was BRUTAL, but I finally got it after shifting some jobs around and selling enough items to afford spamming Hired Help. I’m not used to the genre so maybe that had something to do with it, but I couldn’t help but feel that the game expected me to have a very different play style but never actually encouraged it. Not a knock on the game - it’s an all timer and it’s actually the first game this big that I’ve ever actually finished - but I really did have to change things up.

I’m gonna miss these characters. I didn’t do every side quest, so I’m sure I’ll be back eventually.

 

are you talking about the final boss in the epilogue? because yeah that thing is insane. I found the regular game to be a breeze (mostly) but the final boss was fucking insane. The entire purpose was to call back to the crazy mega bosses of 90s JRPGs and they certainly did that

 

It’s before the epilogue (which doesn’t have any combat) but yeah I’m referring to Vide, the actual final boss that you get to after starting “Extra Stories,” which I’m assuming is what you’re talking about? Your party gets taken away after the first phase and then you use the remaining four to get to the third phase, which then includes all eight characters. I think it was like a 20-30 minute battle, or at least that’s how it felt. I was stuck for almost an entire week.

What a game though. I have no idea what to start next! I do want to try Clair Obscur but I’m also considering Persona 5, Metaphor, and Triangle Strategy.

Triangle strategy is the second best tactics game ive ever played behind three houses. Highly, highly recommend

 

Lies of P is one of the all time best games ever made so any month with that in it is incredible by default.
