as a matter of fact I did actually play some Type 4.

 

The chipperness of FH5 is a common criticism. Fortunately for me, I don't give a damn about dialogue in a racing game. I just wanna drive off a cliff and race down a mountain. lol

Ridge Racer is my shit though. One of those franchises that is just fun but survives in most people's memories almost entirely because of the vibes.

Read someone on the Gematsu comments say this is Bandai Namco Holdings and not Entertainment, and that this is strictly anime/manga related, not video games.

Not sure how accurate that is.

Also read that the amount of shares is like 2% or some such.

Ah I didn't pay too much attention to the exact names....I found it interesting because we all know how Sony has been making moves into obtaining anime IP and we also know how bamco already does so much with anime games (like sword art online) I was thinking this meant Sony would have them make games based on MORE properties on a more consistent basis. Well nevermind then if so lol!

 

DK Bonanza is up there with the newest Ratchet and Clank game as the most fun i’ve had playing something. God damn what a fun time. Also goes to show games can be easy af and fun because Bonanza is legit the easiest game i’ve ever played lmao

 

Also played a good amount of Wuchang last night.

Very very interesting distinctions in this compared to other souls-likes. Very detailed skill tree and combat mechanics. I think this one is definitely legit.

Very interested in Wuchang. Cowboy mentioned that weapon upgrades are tied to the skill tree and those upgrades apply to every weapon of that type (Dual Swords, Spear, etc). The skill points can also be moved for free at any time. I can't think of friendlier build system in a soulslike.

 

Started Wuchang last night and liked what i've played of it.

Khazan also let you play around with their skill trees too at any time for free.

Still though, exciting. I haven't bought Daybreak 1 and 2 yet, my plan is to buy them and Horizon together and go hog wild.

 

Pretty sweet, apparently DualSense controllers now can have 4 possible devices paired to it instead of having to manually pair it every damn time you switch between remote play and your console

 

Gamesir Tegenaria Lite for twenty bucks is a sweet deal, feels almost identical to the 8bitdo Pro2 in overall size and shape, I'm just not used to the start/select buttons being where they are.

 

What games are y’all looking forward to this year? So far, it’s just Silent Hill f and Ghost of Yotei for me.
