Virtua Fighter 5 would be so much more fun if there were more people playing-
i swear every time i boot up the game i only get matches with like one person then no one else for the entire time i'm playing

 

For what feels like years I have been saying Fable is not real and so far I am still right I think lol

 

Can’t wait for Xbox to end up rushing it out, it not hitting their insane metrics, and then they begin more layoffs

 

You can just tell there is so much corporate bloat holding back the actual talented devs from just going for it and needing to capitulate to whatever dumb shit the higher ups are saying the game requires because of some stupid report they read about demographics and what is profitable.

Lmfao the hubris. I’m not even sure The Outer Worlds 2 is a 70 dollar game, much less an 80 dollar one.

I agree with everything. While I think the world in general doesn't value art or artists enough, it's a 2 way street and most of what's getting pumped out is not worth $80 at all.

I also don't even know what a 'gamer' even is anymore or what they want as 'demographic'. Because I hang out in here so much, and you're all (most of ya'll) normal, I see a high demand for varied games / graphics, with diverse stories and gameplay styles. Contrast that with the mainstream gaming sites and no wonder gaming companies (and the penny pinchers) are confused if what they're making is ever going to resonate and what the value of their product is.

Definitely too much bloat. I read a story of how a simple 'let's make a minor animation change' becomes a 7 day task of pitches to various departments when a small team could just say 'sure, it can't hurt to try it'.

The lives are already ruined and I don't like that. The "fuck around" phase is not funny. The "find out" phase is very funny

 

I picked up a racing wheel used from a neighbor and have been dipping my toes into sim racing.

I gave, among other, Forza Horizon 5 a try and my god, it just feels so tone deaf to play a game that is so fucking chipper in the year of our lord 2025. Also the game kinda feels like ass to play not gonna lie.

my current obsesssion is Assetto Corsa Competizione.

I do not have access to a PlayStation 5, so no, but I am very happy with the selection on PC in general.
