Everyone's talking about the new DK game but this Pacmanvania is super weird

 

I wish the new Pacmanvania didn't look so fucking garish, like you can see each limb as its own sprite on the bigger creatures and the whole thing just looks so cheap.

 

I also agree re: Dark Souls 3 not needing a re-master. I just played through it again last year and it holds up very well. Probably one of my top 5 favorite games.

Rolled credits on Death Stranding 2 last night, game of the generation, idk what to tell ya.

This is all his games, but I love Kojima’s ability to strike this tone where he’s telling a very convoluted science fiction story about grief and loss and human connection, but still takes every opportunity to remind you you’re playing a video game , and so things can also be extremely silly and it all just works. GOAT shit

 

while playing clair obscur i mashed r1 for parry pretty hard and now it gets stuck. i could just buy another 8bitdo pro 2 but i see powera has a symmetrical controller now that might be worth checking out. any other reliable brands besides those two?

 

turns out using console command showracemenu in oblivion apparently resets all your skills/attributes. spent hours trying to find a way back to where i was. trying to use console commands to solve a problem caused by using console commands wasn't working sooo i set my character back to level 1 and then manually cast spells to level up the skills back to where they were (i gave myself 3 million magicka to expedite the process; don't worry, i set it back after). tedious but now i'm back on track. except for the gains i got to blade/block/heavy+light armor but that's okay. cheating broke the game, just not in the way i would've liked. who'd have thought.

 

man, I want to give Clair Obscur a shot, but I just reallllllly do not like turn based combat. I know that it is more than that with the parries, dodges, etc. but I just havent been able to give it a go yet. I know its on Gamepass, so next time there is a lull in games, I may give it a shot, but yeah.

cant start it now because its Wuchang time in a few days!

 

tbh it took me a while to get a hang of the combat as well, tho ironically it's the dodge/parry stuff that deterred me. Once I finished Act 1 I couldn't put it down
