I am really really interested in the Neverwinter Nights 2 enhanced edition coming out on the 15th, never played the series.

 

i remember the campaign being... fine i guess? Dragon Age: Origins and subsequent games were certainly better in that regard. NWN was my gateway into D&D tho (i think the games use something like 3.5), and while i haven't exactly played a tabletop in years (pathfinder, which iirc is based on 3.5--so don't ask me anything about 5e), i was obsessed with NWN2 character building

if the enhanced edition still lets you play through community built modules (like skyrim does) those might be worth looking into

 

The first one has an enhanced edition and lets you play all the mod community stuff, I think, so I believe that will be the case on PC. I was thinking about getting it on Switch but need the access to mods for SURE.

 

i haven't explored a ton of mod content myself but i'm willing to bet there's some really interesting and well-written campaigns out there

 

Which hero did you play? A big thing to learn with the game is deck synergy, you want your deck to be balanced between attacks, blocks, and specials. Don’t be afraid to not pick up a card after a battle if all three are bad or not worth it, it’s better to have less cards that do more than more cards that do less. Also, relics are crucial to making it to the end, so try not to skip Elites.

 

Triangle!!! I think it's on sale right now as well. It's the only game I've ever played and immediately restarted to get another ending, and then restarted it again to get the last ending.

 

I've only played Ironclad. Yeah on my last run I made it to the 3rd act or whatever, ran into some mob with 999 HP and he self destructed or something. I had so many good relics and I was slimming my deck down too, thought I would maybe make it that time. You're right though, being more picky over cards is the way to go.

 

Tempest Rising is a fantastic nod to the Command & Conquer games, having a BLAST. hehe.

I actually have a very pedestrian and minimalist setup haha

But my desk is always way too messy to take a pic

I currently have my laptop on a riser on a coffee table downstairs, hooked up to the TV, because my desktop can't play Clair Obscur (and it gets hot in my room)

 

This looks just like me except my guy in the game can skate like a god and I can just kick push
