My parents are dead, but I’ve never played any FF game.

 

y'all gonna make me buy FF8 and break the junction system to hell. Still the only FF next to FF3 I've never finished

 

As much as people try to rag on FF8 they can't deny that Triple Triad just might be the best mini game ever created in a FF.

Dead dad club. Very exclusive, but nobody wants to be in it. But if you’re in, you just get it. If you’re not in, you can’t get it.

Dead mom club just doesn’t hit the same for me. It’s also much more recent than my dad. And I’m a man. I don’t know if that changes anything. First time losing a mom. duh. But dead dad club seems universal regardless of gender. At least that’s been the vibe I’ve gotten over the years.

Haha no, I mean that the idea of a dead mom club just doesn’t feel the same as dead dad club. I can’t explain why. Just how I feel and it feels the same for others I know.

Yeah I hope Queens Blood gets a mobile port so the ability to play whenever could make it's popularity go up. One of the cool things about TT was you could always play FF8 on either PSP or Vita, so you could play it on the go plus there was a mobile standalone basic port of TT you could play that whenever too. But yeah,

so since I’m probably just a month or two away from beating Octopath 2…what massive game do I start next?! P5? Metaphor? Triangle Strategy? None of the above?

edit: forgot to mention that ideally my next game will work well on steam deck or, at minimum, be available on gfn

I loved Triangle Strategy

 

Holy shit, Slay The Spire is hard. Made it to the second floor boss with what I thought was a stacked deck and got shit on.

 

yeah. it gets easier the more cards you unlock. also try to keep your deck as small as possible.

 

Keep grinding and you will fall into a powerful synergy sooner or later and you will get an idea of what it takes to finish a run.

It does feel insurmountable when you first start playing for sure. That makes victory all the more thrilling though.
