I can't remember if I periodically lowered the difficulty just for those big daddy fights but I wouldn't be surprised if I did
just got a new eikon ability in FF16 and holy shit the combat is opening up. the gameplay to cutscene ratio is comical but in a good way. I’m having a great time turning the brain off a little.

I’m taking the game nice and slow and looking for everything so I’m finally reaching the Arcadia level and that sound design is absolutely terrifying for me. Just that constant noise and the atmosphere is like total chefs kiss.
Today I learned of the world of retroachievements and boy, is this the right kind of catnip to get me doing emulation more.
