The only value I want to bring to shareholders is a swift kick to the head. And on that note anyone want to start a game studio haha…
Holy shit FF7 remake is uhh insanely fun??? I don’t remember the last time I was this immediately enamoured with a game

GTA 6 Will Reportedly Have a Physical Disc Release in December 2026 Unconfirmed but people are starting to report it.
I mean, if it is really just to avoid leaks as they say and it is not a Business Decision, it does make sense.
I keep seeing people bring up Crimson Desert and how that was fully locked down, no one could get into the disc until launch day because the disc didn't activate until it connected to the Internet and only when it was connected at launch time did it download the mandatory unlock. Now that disc was legit useless, people did get them early but couldn't do anything with it.
I mean if we look at a physical purchase as more of a "time capsule" and not just "I can resell my games this way", the Crimson Desert disk will eventually turn into a glorified coaster. That said I don't think anyone would want to play that version after the copious amounts of updates anyway. If this is Rockstar's way of shipping a legitimately playable version of GTAVI onto a disk that needs no internet to be played, this is actually somewhat based.
Yeah a day 1 Crimson Desert compared to current day Crimson Desert is like night and day, they're two completely different games lol. Hopefully Rockstar says something soon since this rumour is now out and getting attention. And maybe a new gameplay vid......
Well rockstar has put out a statement re: physical. Rockstar Games Responds to GTA 6 Physical Disc Backlash
To preload it so you can play it as soon as it's released. Especially with something like this that will likely take an absolute age to download/update etc.
Considering discs generally aren't a top priority for gamers anymore, it's smart to take advantage of that and only release physical copies after the initial release to avoid leaks. It's not really something that was possible a couple generations ago where physical copies were the main way to sell games. I still have my doubts though. It really depends on the size of the game. Assuming the game will take up over 200gb of space like a lot of people think, physical copies will take at least 3 discs for the full game on PS5. Game publishers tend to avoid that like the plague. That's just the PS5 version. The Xbox version would be like 5 discs. lol
The Map leaked for those that are interested. I won't post it in case you want to keep it a secret until the game comes out but that is essentially avoiding the internet all together for a long time.
Not really. Video games have been $60-$70 since the early 90’s. It’s the one item that hasn’t really increased in price with inflation. I do not think an $80 game is really all that crazy.
