Finished the main story last night, damn I love that game. Probably one of my top favorite indie games this decade.
What a joke. Shame too, I was really interested at first but as more and more news about it was coming out it seemed destined to fail.
Yeah I'll pass on that as much as I would have liked to get one in the past. That price does not fit my budget currently. My gaming has been non-existent other than Pokopia recently.
I’m having a internal discussion about if I should just do pre built with some of these prices or just take the really big hit from said prices and build one.

Lol I paid right around the same price for my PS5, Series X and Switch 2 combined for the price they're asking for the 2TB steam box. Can't believe they're selling a box with no controller for more than $1k.

This is less of a Valve fuck up and more of an out of control RAM market. The originally intended $750 price tag is a lot more reasonable for an entry level SteamOS small form factor plug and play living room PC. Thankfully I just don’t have anywhere close to enough time to game anymore, have played probably 30-40 hours total of anything this calendar year. Ultimately would be looking to pick up an inevitable OLED Switch 2 to pair with the PS5 Pro.
So I ended up buying some more Final Fantasy games, lol. Played like two chapters of 13 and not really getting into it. I know the game hasn't fully introduced the combat system yet and everybody says it gets better as it goes but ehhh, I don't have that much time to spend. Maybe I'll revisit it. Ended up buying 7 Remake/Rebirth and X/X-2 HD. Enjoying the first bits of 7 remake a lot more.
I’d rather just punch a hole in my wall and run a 100ft HDMI to my tv than get the box for that price lmao
