Looking at taking advantage of some digital sales right now and buying one game for my kids and one for me. I'm trying to narrow it down. You guys are the experts, I'd love your opinions. Games for the kids: Donut County Moving Out Games for me: Solar Ash XCOM 2 Collection
I loved Donut County, but I am not a great gauge on whether something will be fun for kids. I just know I enjoyed it.
Donut Country was good but I think kids would lose interest easily. It reminded me a lot of something like Costume Quest but not as fun.
Been playing the demo for Order of the Sinking Star, Jon Blow's studios next game, for the past few days. JB seems like kind of a tool and everyone can draw their own lines when it comes to supporting the game but so far it is very impressive. I can already see the beginnings of how complex these puzzles are going to get and there are only 75 puzzles in the demo (35 more added this Friday) out of a total of 1400+ in the full game. Big recommendation from me for anyone who likes puzzles and is interested in a game that pushes its ideas to the absolute limit.
I totally forgot July 9 was the date...that's SOON. Also the newest (and final) update of AC Shadows finally goes HEAVY on the lore and ties to Black Flag, Kassadra from Odyssey, Isus and Tenplars. Haven't played it yet myself but the rest of the fanbase seems to really like it, even though it came way too late.
Haven't played Solar Ash but XCOM is phenomenal. I loved Donut Country but Moving Out likely has more replay value and feels like a game I would've loved playing with my sister back in the day.
can’t wait for YouTube to show me in the algorithm of some random YouTuber making an hour long video breaking down that cover.
I’m on the 8th mission in control and I unlocked the Alan Wake DLC and I was stoked to start it but than I read it’s too hard for my current build so I was like let me finish the story and foundation dlc before I start it.
Astral Orrery has been the only low point in Mina for me so far. I am not having fun in this area, or at least the section I finally just struggled my way through. Edit: okay, mutant lab section is way better than the stupid black hole area.
