Mina rocks, man. Was having a really rough go beating a boss in Coltrane Peak, and for the first time since starting the game, dying was frustrating because it’s a big pain to get back to it. I was surprised there wasn’t a closer save point. Lo and behold, on one of my later attempts, I noticed a platform and wondered why it was there, and that’s when I discovered a hidden area right next to the boss room with a save point.
Man I remember when these things were out of stock everywhere! Walked into Walmart and was able to nab a Switch 2 super easy. So do ALL (or most) switch 1 games have some kind of boost by inserting the cartridge? Or is it a case by case basic and done you actually have to pay for a digital upgrade. ELI5
general performance should be better for Switch 1 games (and there's a mode in settings that'll run most Switch 1 games with docked settings in handheld mode, albeit at the cost of battery). some Switch 1 games will have a free software update to give them additional performance boosts on Switch 2, while others will have either free or paid "Switch 2 Upgrade Packs" that include other major visual enhancements and additional content.
Thanks, that's good to know there's settings to mess around with. I've still got some of switch 1 games in my backlog so it'll be cool seeing what can be done. The usual deals I see for digital switch 2 upgrades if you already own a switch 1 copy aren't even expensive at all so I don't mind paying for upgrade in performance and quality!
I’m still on control and just slowly walking on vibes and exploring. I went to do the carousel mission and I got jump scared by the simplest of a jump scare type lol. this is why I’m not good with any type of horror movie.
I decided to take a break from DS2 because Trails into Reverie was calling my name and thank God I did because the intro is fan-fucking-tastic and I've been stuck on the first battle because I can't stop listening to this banger of a song.
The treasure crab has to be a boss and Jermaine Clement just sings the whole time. Disney has the money, give us what we need.
Sanabi is super cool so far though I absolutely suck at the traversal and I would describe my play style as far from graceful. It's not hard yet but I know I'm playing it laughably unsmooth.
After a 'corporate mandate' demanded they help with Call of Duty, Toys for Bob studio head says it took 'many mini miracles' to buy their independence from Activision Really happy for these guys.
