maybe at first. at this point the appeal for fans of the series is the actual storyline. the disney elements were always my least favorite part.
I do not know the financial details behind cutting out the Disney details but I assume there is something that makes sure they can't at this point
It genuinely would be cool to see Emet-Selch as a secret boss a la Sephiroth but idk what to expect from that after KH3
Well we pretty much already know they're doing a Star Wars world right? Seems like Marvel and Avatar would have to be on the table, but I also don't think the more traditional Disney worlds are going anywhere.
Nah. Biggest selling point of the entire series. But I do wish we could get a group of Disney TV worlds. Picture it: DuckTales! Rescue Rangers! Darkwing Duck! Gargoyles! Do one for the Aladdin TV show, do one for Gummi Bears! Bouncin here and there and everywhere!
I thought there was like a screenshot of it or something, idk it's been a long time since it was announced, I could be misremembering.
People think Endor based on the forest vegetation of some world. But yeah I'm cool with less Disney stuff. KH4 is essentially Versus 13 anyways, and the Organization XIII has always been a highlight of the series to me. Seeing a lot of people theorizing that the people we saw in this new trailer are from uX and Dark Road and I'M STOKED.
I am fine with the Disney stuff as long as it's executed well enough, I like the balance between the whimsy of the Disney worlds and the general darkness (not trying to engage in punnery) of the stakes of the games and the like
Nintendo Direct was pretty good. Although, they did spend a lot of time on that thumb wrestling game.Psyched for that new From game, Star Fox, OOT and the Vampire Survivors expansion.
Alright Nintendo, you finally convinced me it's time to buy a Switch 2. I said a Xenoblade would sell me and I wanna get in before the price increase any more.
Tbh I think the sweet spot was KH2....I wasn't a fan of the Disney portions of KH3. I WANTED to, but some worlds felt empty and the story was were pointless.....which I hear Disney is extremely restrictive with how any Disney property is handled so they're the ones to blame if it doesn't work out. Also being back FF characters!
I agree, I think KH2 struck the balance very well And yeah that's kinda what I was getting at re: not having hopes for Emet-Selch as a secret boss, I think if we got FF characters back in then it'd be soooooooo good but yeah
Based on some of the small icons in the menu, Moana seems all but confirmed in some form for KH4. I think one of the things that hurt KH3 was having an announcement trailer for every Disney world, so hopefully they keep some secret in the lead up.
