Mina is kicking my ass but I’m loving it. I was stuck on the part where you need to destroy a car in under 30 seconds for like an hour but the reward seems worth it so far.
I’ve not seen that yet but I did just restore my first generator! I am absolutely in love with this game.
I’m getting a bonus soon. I’m thinking of getting either Mina, Saros, or the new James Bond game. Summer vacation gaming is calling…
Mina is toooooough. I’m in love with it and it’s testing my patience haha. I’m working my way through Bone Beach and the platforming gets insane.
Was not expecting Mina to be so challenging lol. And I mean that in a good way, I was just expecting more fun Shovel Knight silliness and it knocked me flat pretty quick. Maybe that’s on me for backing the Kickstarter four years ago and then never learning anything else about it haha. It is so good though. I’m blown away.
First Light really is just a collection of middling gameplay sections tied together by a intriguing story and fantastic production values, huh?
beat another crabs treasure good game but since I basically overleveled my character it made end game a bit easier. The hidden bosses were also super cool and I loved having to search for them. im doing a split gaming session right now: I started control and I hate using the cliche wow this is giving twin peaks vibe with the supernatural cause ya know that’s all I really have with that genre but it’s good so far. It also makes me want to go back and play Alan wake. I also picked up Sifu and boy is that hard for me cause I’m not used to that style of game at all. I aged up way too much in just the first area so now I might have to restart the game lol. This one might take some time practicing.
Oh and me, my brother and two cousins have started a weekly game night and the game we’ve been playing is the division 2. my brother got completely hooked so he started his own campaign by himself but the rest of us are like level 15 and halfway through the main story but we also have the two expansions ready to go.
For whatever reason Diablo IV didn't stick with me initially... going through the latest expansion now and fuck, this shit rocks. When Tyrael returns to get Lorath back on the path, I fucking cried, ngl
SAROOOOOS! Finally took out Legion. Saw a strat online that I was questionable of but it actually worked perfectly. I didn’t even parry I just dodged and melted it with prominence and the cross bow. Gonna take a break and start First Light/Mina.
i tried going for that achievement again, reaching an ending that only happens by making the most violent choices, and again i still couldn't get it. not only is it frustrating turning up empty handed, it's also emotionally exhausting going through the cruelest pathways. i could watch a guide and do exactly what it tells me to in order to get the achievement but... i don't want to keep doing this. as much as i adore this game and its many multitudes, i don't enjoy this side of it. playing it this way, it stops being a love story. maybe i don't need to see the worst ending of the game if it requires going through the ugliest parts of it over and over.
having the best damn time with Mina. took out the boss in the crpyt and in the bayou yesterday and now I'm wandering trying to figure out where to go next. the combat and movement REALLY clicked.
I started Mina and haven't spent much time with it but I'm not really hooked yet. The game is definitely creative and great but I don't know if I'm having as much fun as people I've talked to about it, but that's alright. I'm extremely early on so I expect it to get a lot better 007 has been going great, I just so badly wish gunplay was a bit better. Any time I'm expected to kill people it feels like a bummer compared to how fun sneaking around and exploring creative solutions is. Going behind cover feels clunky as all hell as well. I think the game is incredible for its true genre and lives up to the hype, but it's certainly heavily flawed
Hoping to finish First Light. Had to work all weekend so it’s been on pause but the game has been fantastic so far.
