The Mina level design is absolutely phenomenal. Blown away at how much I am enjoying this game right from the rip.
Xbox is probably less scared of GTA and probably more concerned with putting out a version of Fable people actually want to buy
Xbox released a video that talks about the delay, among other things, and Matt Booty says they are moving it because they want it to have a release window of its own.
I mean I am all for making fun of xbox but I don't think we have to call Playground Games' bonafides into questions since their last 5 games all had 90+ on Metacritic.
While I'm sure that is a good idea in its own right it isn't exactly like they're going to be honest and say "Yeah, we're changing some things in Fable based on feedback/reaction" which they are definitely doing. Also, pointing out that they're good at making Forza multiple times over doesn't mean much lol
I mean yes we know they're not just going to twiddle their thumbs for 5 months. It's probably the best thing they can do for the health of that game's launch, I don't know why you're bending over backwards to try to paint any of that as a negative.
the fact that there are multiple reasons to why they would delay it means it’s a good call for them to do so
It is PoE 2 time however, since I sorta kinda know what the fuck i'm doing in this game after 200 hours of playtime
every now and then a game is made in a lab for me and this is one of them. I’m so excited to dive in more.
I’m telling myself to finish Mixtape before I start Mina but I feel like what’s going to happen is that I’m going to play another 15 minutes of Mixtape before deciding it’s time to start Mina. edit: welp Mixtape now has me hooked and feeling lots of things
Mina has me instantly hooked, but dang, this is tough lol. Just got to the Ossex but that first boss got my heart racing.
mina acquired. i’m still mainly gonna be playing forza 6 for a minute but this will be a nice switch up every now and then til im done with forza
I don’t want to leave Ossex. Exploring is so satisfying and all the residents are so cute. Even the one that stole some bones straight outta my pocket, not once but twice. Klumpy and Urchin are my boys. I personally regret choosing the hammer as my starting weapon so I’m looking forward to switching it out when I can. It’s not bad; I’m just not good at charging it + rolling without hurting myself in the process.
Sarrrrrooooooos! Got Legion down to his last phase and like 35% of his health! The marsh biome itself is harder than the fight . Idk why but last couple runs I had a ton of big boys in almost every room.
Traveling from place to place in Mina is one of the most stressful and satisfying experiences I’ve had in a while, haha. My trek to Queensbury Crypt had me ready to flush my Steam Deck down the toilet at one point and then suddenly I’m shouting “FUCK YEAH,” lol. I also keep finding secrets which I’m usually really bad at but the design is so good that I’ve been trying to explore literally every nook and cranny lol
