STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT launches in the west on August 20 for Xbox Series and PC, October 29 for PS5, Switch 2, PS4, and Switch Xbox/PC August 20 digital PS4/PS5/Switch 1&2 October 29 physical and digital Steelbook is sick!
A few missions into 007 and it’s fantastic. I love the ability to get to your final objective with some options. The combat is a bit clunky but the story is really good. Highly recommended.
just can’t seem to make it their with the right weapon right now and my re-rolls are not going well. making progress everytime though. what was your favorite?
Yeah, I know that feeling. At a certain point, I forced myself to just grab whatever weapon was a higher level than my current one. got me to learn the different weapons. I usually would run with anything but the shotgun tbh. just didnt fit how i like to run and gun. For Architect, I think the Tactical rifle was best. shotgun and chakram dont work well given this boss isnt close that often.
Arkham games are some of my favorite of all time so it’s been really cool to see all the threads and nods to those games here. story so far is whatever but not completely terrible, feels very comicbook-y. Graphics are quite good too
The smart gun along with a prominence that has homing did the trick for me. Made it easier to parry the red orbs and eat them blue boiz. If you start from a biome or two back you should be able to build rep and get extra power headed into the fight. Also, go for all the nightmare strands you can. They can be tough as nails, but they also shower you in lucenite and weapons.
thanks ya'll! was getting to the start of the final phase pretty regularly last night with the smart/tactical rifle but only starting from the biome. I'm going to back up a bit tonight and make some more runs from there.
Excited to get back to 007 today. After I finish it, I’m going to dive into the new Lego Batman. I’ve heard a lot of great things.
A dead end? That's so weird. I know in Dead Cells certain pathways will lock you out of certain biomes, but afaik you're never locked out from reaching the final boss
I would also recommend Gotham Knights if you haven't played that already. Another overly hated, perfectly fine game imo. ppl went into Gotham Knights and SSKTJL wanting another Arkham City, of course they were disappointed. But these weren't bad at all.
Going out of town for the week and I don't know if I'll get to start 007 but definitely going to download Mina the Hollower onto my Switch 2, excited to check both out!
