Anyway, I think it's hilarious that instead of doing the obvious thing and put in more legacy Sega characters, Sega's putting in Nickelodeon characters. Don't they have their own franchise for this?
Paramount released the Sonic movie. I think Paramount has an deal to adapt more Sega franchises. Paramount owns Nickelodeon. It's Synergy I guess. But yeah it would be like if the Minions and Shrek showed up in SSB because Universal has a deal with Nintendo.
Thinking about it, it's such a missed opportunity that Sega doesn't have their own Smash Bros./Marvel vs. Capcom/Dissidia with which to celebrate their legacy. They easily have a humongous roster to pull from and they have fighting game experience, so I'm just surprised it's never been attempted. Can you imagine fighting as Ecco the Dolphin?
I keep thinking of more possibilities. Toejam and Earl fighting with funk. Sketch Turner drawing up comic book weapons. Ristar with long range punches. Phantasy Star and Shining Force characters to be the "Fire Emblem" of the roster. Joe Musashi, Axel and Blaze, fucking Golden Axe! The roster writes itself! What the fuck, Sega?
Reading about MH Wilds getting slammed in recent Steam reviews and now that it's been a few months and I've processed my experience. That game was such a fucking let down holy shit
I finally had time to create an Elden Ring installation that starts you at the DLC with a level 90 character and no base game equipment, making it a game of its own essentially.
And for your random rogue of the day I present to you Save 20% on KIBORG on Steam I've seen this pop up a lot on Steam and finally decided to look into it. I haven't played yet but the game features a PS3 era beat em up system as well as some mechanics that were huge features in the Batman Arkham games (which i've never played) Whatever this game is doing, people who play it seem to fucking LOVE it.
Idk how much interest there will be, but since my buddy flaked on playing minecraft with me, I should try to put my server to good use. If you're new to modded this pack has a lot of quests to break you in easy, It's FTB Evolution version 1.19, link below. Pack here It's a fresh world as I've been struggling to find what pack I'd like to play, the two config changes I'm making is that keep inventory on death will be on, and mob griefing will be disabled (so creepers can't ruin your base), I know there's probably not much interest but, hey, if one person tries it, I won't feel so bad about wasting money on a server rental lol. server ip is simply: mc.sonofsnow.com
I don’t really understand the need for cross-saves for late ports, unless it’s a multiplayer/GaaS game. What’s the use case? Not that it has downsides either of course
For the record: I did scan the thread to see if anyone else posted that trailer. They didn't. I just wasn't looking for people posting a hyperlink of the announcement lol
There should be a rule that if someone reposts something, but their post is better than the OP's then it overrules it, and it's fine. Let the market decide.
We should add a downvote button, and the person with the most downvotes at the end of the month gets selected to be put in a dunk tank.
