Yall I think I am finally gonna do it .... I'm finally gonna purchase the Diofield Chronicle, it's on sale.
I saw rematch was just a cool version of soccer and got stoked and then I realized it’s $30 it should have been free to play :(
Looks like SE is having a mid game sale Forspoken Visons of Mana Diofield So tempting to grab em all lmao
I went back and played more of this today and SHEESH, this game is so fucking good. I can't even imagine what 1.0 will look like. I've tried a lot of Rogue FPS games and I usually refund them. This one is so damn good that it ruins all the other ones for me. Witchfire on Steam
I’m trying to pick my July game and I’m choosing between either Control, Cyberpunk 2077 or Horizon Zero Dawn remastered. Some pretty good choices.
I can't imagine wanting any game to be free to play since that will probably mean it will be monetized to hell and go under in a year or less.
im a free to play king but yeah you right but I don’t know how easy it’ll be to convince people to spend $30 to play it since all my family are free to play people
I think my last game for the 12 for 12 month games is going to be Persona 5 Royal because usually December is when my work is the slowest so I’ll have a lot of time to game it. August through November are my busy months at work so I might try to pick smaller games for that like less than 50 hour games. so yeah that might be a good order @robbieberns
i never finished Control- i was playing it on my Series S and it crashed several times so i set it aside for a while; now i don't remember what my objective was or how to play lmao
I need to finish Control, only got like 1/3 of the way through but was really enjoying it. Also playing more SF6, I wish I could filter out playing against people using the modern control scheme. I’m glad it exists or whatever but at my level I’d rather be playing against people who are also still trying to get the inputs down. It’s kind of a rough pace when they can hit special attacks and shit with one button press
Finally got the Blue Tent in Blue Prince. Reinvigorated my drive to complete this thing after it honestly having stalled out a bit for lack of progress. Though I do have a bit of a complaint (lots of later game post room 46 spoilers) Trophies I got were: Beat the game obviously that isn't too hard. Fill the house / do 40 of each of the puzzles both weren't too bad Buy out the show room I just used my chapel cash in for that (and then regretted it when I had to get 400 for the tent lol) Create all 8 contraptions was a fun one trying to track down what the last ingredient was Pass the final test was... annoying because I kept never rolling the schoolhouse. And then at the end I cheated there because like I knew I had all the info I needed but I didn't wanna spend all that time reading through the books and needing to draft the 9 classrooms again. But that left me at 7. Which is where I ran out of steam. Kept making progress on some small sub goals (get the admin password, read the diary in her ladyship's chambers) but figured getting room 8 was the next thing to shoot for but couldn't get anywhere on that. Finally gave in, looked up some hints realized I apparently need to solve the gallery which I'm like totally stumped on. But also got tipped off by the fact that the blue tent helps with hints and that reinvigorated me a bit So decided to focus on dare mode as that is probably the easiest 8th trophy even though my dare mode was annoying as fuck. (got both can't draft all 5 on a rank, and you can only enter each room three times. fortunately the third was just I needed to save a gem at the end. and for some reason I guess it realized the first two were hard enough and didn't give me a 4th lol). with the focus I was able to get dare more done in only 15 days! Final day was a nail biter! I had emptied out the fountain a few days prior. Punted on accessing the basement from the tomb. Somehow managed to line up a day where I not only got the power hammer but was able to get all the way to the ante chamber without doubling back once. But because I hadn't moved the minecart yet I was really worried I wasn't going to have nearly enough moves. Fortunately all the fruit scattered by the secret garden bailed me out and was just able to hit 46 with a couple of steps to spare I feel like one more "easier" trophy could help get people to the 8 trophies and then they can get the tent and get some hint for the real endgame stuff. idk maybe the "drafting sweepstakes" is easy and I'm just being dumb on that one. also really proud of my solution for actually getting the 400 gold needed to buy the blue tent: my allowance is like 50 due to some labs gone well. I realized that if you blessing of monk the freezer, you can keep drafting it there. I have the pawn chess power, which I normally use for rook but switched to using the bishop. So then then it was just a few days of getting my allowance + 30 gp from the bishop + all the other money I collect in the run, end the by drafting the freezer in the outdoor room and then restart inside it and you can repeat. Honestly probably could've gotten 800 if I had fully executed everything (didn't realize until halfway through that it was better to freeze at the end. spend a few days just getting my allowance and then looking for a furnance. and also could've had an extra day on the blessing + finished a day earlier.) Honestly tempted to do another run where I get the shop upgrade for the bunk room and use the same hack. I feel like you could probably get 10k with optimal play. anyways, now that I've gotten the blue tent I'm back to having a lot of fun with the game. got 3 letters -- know where 3 more safes are but being dumb and can't crack the codes, I have like 5 sanctum keys and 3 of them solved? Just did the bit with that big chamber to the side in the underground you gotta setup the boiler room for (thanks hint!)! and now I gotta get back to the pump room and put the water on 6
I forgot to ask the thread about Furi, I got it on sale for super cheap a few week ago and idk if I had even heard about the game before I bought it. Still need to give it a try but it looks like a banger if you like intense combat and parrying. Anyone enjoy this one?
Its been on my radar for a while but i finally got The Ascent on sale, and damn, what an absolutely stunning game. Combat so far is meh, but the scenery will keep me glued to this for a minute and im still on the very first underground level.
Furi is cool, I like the bullet he’ll aspect of it and lately all I’ve wanted to play is fighting and boss rush games edit: damn dead space cheap as hell too
