Sometimes I play on the highest difficulty if there's a trophy for it, and it's not absolute murder. I replayed the Mass Effect trilogy on the highest, but gave up very quickly when replaying Bioshock.

another boom shoot lol This one is called Supplice, from Polish publisher HyperStrange. Developed by someone called Mekworx, which might just be one guy. I'm not really sure from their website. It has sort of a 'build engine' vibe to it but doesn't really play like one. Still in early access but there's a lot of good stuff here, albeit a little rough around the edges. Most importantly the guns feel good and sound amazing. Some not so great things include labyrinthine maps that are tough to navigate even with an automap, and the expectation that you're supposed to read a LOT of exposition dumps on computer terminals to know what's going on. This is not the kind of game I want to stop playing to read six pages of dialogue lol
