Been following Kingdoms of the Dump for a minute and had no idea it was coming out today. Very pleasant surprise and I'm looking forward to diving into it!
The best store-brand Breath of the Wild-like on PC is free to keep this month, as long as you can stomach Ubisoft Connect According to this article the Gold Edition is $15 but the core game should be free. I already own it so I didn't investigate myself.
NieR: Automata creator Yoko Taro says he’s actually been working on a lot of projects recently, it’s just that they got cancelled midway - AUTOMATON WEST I highly highly doubt any of these were Nier 4 so that just begs the question, why hasn't Squeenix green it that game then? I'm sure these were smaller titles like Voice of Cards or something, but surely they know that the world is just waiting for a proper game from Yoko Taro. I use to believe something was coming this year as it was Nier's 15 year anniversary but nada. I just hope Squeenix knows that Nier 4 is guaranteed money.
Not being able to merge two copies of the same evolution in BALL x PIT is disappointing but other than that having a lot of fun with it
I know it's been a decade but I still haven't come to terms with the fact that Codemasters is owned by EA now lol
After putting it off for months, I’m finally playing Expedition 33, and yeah, I’m blown away. I love the characters, world, writing, story, combat, music… pretty much everything. Just wrapped up Act 1 last night, and I had a suspicion about what was coming due to the name of Act 1 and seeing lots of WTF reactions to it over these past few months. Still hit pretty hard and I’m sad I put so many colors of lumina into him lol. Really excited to see where Act 2 goes. If anyone else has been putting it off because they tend to get overwhelmed by the systems in turn-based games, put it on Story difficulty and you’ll be just fine. This already feels like a game I’ll be replaying, and I’ll bump up the difficulty during those play throughs when I have a greater understanding of the build and combat systems. Also, I’m sure the parry windows are longer on this difficulty, but I’ve found the audio cues to be a much better indicator of when to parry than any visual one. Turn the music levels down during combat (which is a really nice setting!) and listen for slicing sounds.
Don’t quote me on this but I believe the colors of lumina flow over to the new character that you get. I know for sure the skill tree does but not 100% sure on the points.
Berseria! Kinda surprised they're doing the latest (besides arise) tales game but not complaining, that game was really fun.
