I did bail. I still liked the story, but it started to feel a little tedious and the second I found myself looking at a walkthrough to speed things up was when I decided I was no longer enjoying it. I bailed about 15 hours in; I had 2/3 of the strange device left. Realizing I had to find components for the well after spending five minutes just trying to remember where exactly the well even was was what finally got me to hit the exit button, lol I think fondly of the game, I just think I should’ve taken a break sooner - I wasn’t expecting it to be as long as it apparently is.
Ahh, I thought you were earlier and I was going to tell you it picks up as you go along but you quit at about the point that I am now.
hahah yeah I started to get a little bored and then the ballroom party pulled me back in for a little
Finally saw the end credits in The Outer Worlds 2. Damn good game I didn't look at total time but I put in at least 50 hours to complete it 100%. I did get locked out of one mission but that's because I skipped around and messed up the order, but oh well. Obsidian is on a whole different level this year....this game and Avowed? Some of the best games I've played all year. Avowed had the better setting but I think the RPG mechanics were better fleshed out in this game. Like, with Avowed I'll do another playthrough just because I enjoyed the game and battles were fun. With this game, there's so much replayability with the whole skills/perks and how they can DRASTICALLY change each playthrough. You only get SO many skill points so you will have to completely ignore certain skills and try those out on a different playthrough. Which leads me into my only complaint, I wish the level wasn't maxed at 30. I hit the max well before the endgame by doing side missions so once I hit 30 growth was stopped. But then again I DID choose a week that gives me double exp but pirs a countdown timer when making conversation choices so that *might* have had an impact? Oh well. Game fun. Obsidian GOATs, and I'm super bummed that they announced they aren't working on TOW3 but I think if they put the stuff from this game, polish it up and build on that in Avowed 2, that game will be an all timer.
hey chat if by chance anyone still plays Helldivers 2 on here (on PlayStation) hit me up, i wanna play a bunch of matches to unlock the Halo ODST gear!
I’ve been play testing for EA new game stuff and they just sent me a free code for battlefield 6 so sick
One of the ppl on tiktok live I'm watching play Silksong keeps mentioning Dispatch, mayhaps I should look into it
Was looking for a new racing sim to play on my Deck and went with Dirt Rally 2.0 cause I read it ran well. It’s hard as hell but I’m really digging it so far
I heard everything about is good but some minor story gripes from the actual people behind it which is cool
Every NPC in ragnarok making comments on how long Kratos takes to explore and loot is cracking me up man
I’m only like an hour into dispatch but it rules. The art style is so damn good and the voice cast is stacked
i don't think Dispatch is for me, but its a really cool idea! and yeah there's so many great voices in it as well
had a festival/hotel I was suppose to go to tomorrow get rescheduled so I ended up doing the refund option so now I’m looking at maybe getting those two monitors I want this weekend
far cry primal is…interesting. I don’t hate it because this era of far cry (4) is my favorite by a long shot so the general feel and aesthetic is pretty engrossing. But there’s some weird quirked up stuff going on with the mechanics to make it feel like you’re actually a caveman or whatever and I’m not sure if it actually succeeds
I've had more success seeing legendaries in vending machines as Limited Time Deals lol. I seriously thought the final vault would give at least one or two, but I got nothing but blues and greens and maybe 3 purples. Ridiculous. I saw in patch notes last week or so that one of the weekly challenges is now giving a guaranteed legendary, I forget which one that is but I need to find out. Also I now have access to Maurice's vending machine and his legendaries were garbage this week. All in all the game was fun, they set hona lot of stuff for the dlc and sequel as far as the story goes. It's a perfect game to just turn your brain off and go raid some camps. I do agree with another common complaint though, some enemies are straight up bullet sponges.
