The Shadows meltdowns with Naoe and Yasuke were funny enough, I can only imagine these meltdowns. I WAS actually wondering when/what era they would revisit the USA since it's been almost 15 years since AC3.

After a long hiatus I'm getting the itch to get back into gaming. I've been eying the Series S and was wondering, is 512gb too small? Should I just pay the extra 40 bucks for the 1tb?

Also I still have my Switch but in the past I only used it to play remastered classic games. Any recommendations for new purchases on there?

 

Expedition 33 is the best thing I've played since BG3, so I'm kind of shocked to see it excluded. Well, it's my GotY, at least.

So dumb question but if I haven't played the original (I know, what am I doing) is this the original + more or is this a full remix where I'd wanna play the original and then play this?

 

My understanding is it's a remake of the original plus more, with several things changed like for example, you start with every move, and worlds no longer need to be expanded.

I'm not sure how those changes affect the experience. Probably a lot if there's no need to backtrack and if you can fly right off the bat, no pun intended.

It's up to you if you want the original experience first with that in mind.

This review, while starting from a place of not enjoying the original, highlights some interesting and worrying bits about the remake, like things that were completely excised and the fact that you can beat the game two worlds in now that they've added twice as many collectibles.

I kind of wish they hadn't felt the need to do all that.

 

Read today that the global version of the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction game is closing and I'm now thinking about how many games are in my library that I haven't played and now never will.

 

Played Yooka Replaylee for a bit this morning and that IGN review is looking pretty accurate. I am enjoying myself so far because I love this style of game and the controls are genuinely good, but it does still feel very generic.

Big improvement over the original though. Did not like that one.
