Yeah ive been using the trident some and plan on maxing it out, been using the Dancers Curved sword blade mostly though
people have been begging for them to bring Deadpool to current console generations and we only get him back through a vr game is cruel lmao
Still plenty of ways to fuck this up... but if this actually deliveries the fluidity of the steam deck, while supporting Steam / GOG / Epic / Xbox libraries *and* game pass in a truly portable mode (i.e. download a game pass game and play it offline at least a week)... gonna be hard for anyone else to touch that
I'm rooting for their success, as more competition breeds innovation, so if this gets Valve to really step it up for the Steam Deck 2, that's a win. With that said, the touchpads are an integral part of the handheld experience for me and none of the Deck alternatives have em, so it's a hard pass for me without those.
I almost never use the touchpads on my steam deck. What games do you use them for? I do think the steam deck can take some improvements from the xbox elite controller's back buttons. The ones on the steam deck are way too stiff for regular use. Whereas once you get use to it, if you remap the bumpers on the elite controller its way more natural to use the back buttons than it is to use the bumpers.
My left shoulder button is a little janky so I usually reassign both r1 and l1 to the back buttons, more comfortable for some games
it really sucks there is no cross play in Nightreign and I don't ever see them making it happen. I think that's gonna hurt it in the long run.
As good as the they are, sadly From's games lacking basic features that are taken for granted these days -- don't even get me started on PC specific options -- is getting more and more frustrating with each passing game, exasperated by the ever increasing quality of their output.
just got a lil older gaming laptop and playing cyberpunk loving it sm. im not seeing the sun this summeer
Between ps and pc saves im well over 200 hours. I just like to walk / drive around night city and do random gigs at this point. Idk when it'll ever get old for me and we have another patch coming to.
agreed. I wanted cross play in Elden Ring but they got a pass because it was obviously heavily single player focused. now, on a multiplayer focused game where you can’t even play duos - it’s maddening.
yess exactly the gameplay itself is nothing groundbreaking but the world is so immersive, i just like getting high walking around and seeing everything going on
took some time off to watch that wu tang clan show so the game has me interested but now it’s back to the AC origins grind
Ah I love PC gaming, got a mod to be able to respec for free whenever in Cyberpunk, fits right into the character UI too.
Any FPS game or FPS-adjacent. I also do things like assign radial shortcuts for weapon swaps in FPS. It's also super useful for any UI navigation as it acts like a mouse, and there's a lot you can do with them for emulators as well. It was a "once I've had it, I can't not have it" thing for me LOL. Yeah, the only thing I use the back buttons for trainers or mod triggers for games. They're not great. Would love to swap the bumpers with back buttons if they were in that style. good idea
