This has the same energy as my post about not understanding how someone can get burnt out on the gameplay loop when I deliberately trivialize 99% of combat with cheat codes.

 

Hahaha touche, touche. But you were on PC and I was playing on Vita! So you being able to play God Mode makes battles unimportant so you can afford to soak up all content where me as a console pleb was ready to see how the Sky arc ends and move into a new story. Zero QoL on the vita games, I was just ready to move into Crossbell on my Switch, where Zero/Azure at least had a fast forward mode lol.

 

Its been what close to 15 years? Gimme that drunk(er) more cynical M rated Rayman.

I miss Conker.

 

That's a game I believe would find an audience today, grab the South Park crowd.

There are 3 dream remasters Atari's CEO wants to work on, but he has no idea if they'd actually 'do well'

Atari (who owns Nightdive) would love to one day remaster Panzer Dragoon Saga, Ogre Battle, and Snatcher. I love where their head is at.

 

Snatcher??? Been a while since I even thought about that one.

Also, Atari giving people hope about Saga is honestly messed up. I'll believe it when I see it. lol

 

Sega has nothing to do with this?

 

I fixed it faster than you could respond. Get on my level. lol

Seriously though, Panzer Dragoon is owned by Sega which is why my brain farted out their name instead of Atari.

 

Snatcher is Konami and Ogre Battle is Square. They're just interested in remastering other people's stuff, which is why I mentioned Nightdive.

I may dislike every company involved in that transaction.

Been playing Hell Is Us today and yesterday because I am a sucker who but the advanced access, but I am really enjoying it so far. Feels like they focused a lot on the atmosphere and exploration aspects of a From game rather than the difficult combat. Enemy variety is not great so far, but its forgivable for me since I am enjoying the other parts of it so much. Trust that the player can figure things out by themselves is very important to me and this has that in spades.

One caveat though, the game is about the atrocities that humans commit against each other during war so it can be pretty bleak to say the least. Maybe not what everyone wants to be interfacing with at this point in history. imo, its done well - don't think anything has been cheap or gratuitous so far - but still, fair warning.

 

I also played a little Hell is Us last night but let's just say my reading of that game isn't as charitable.
