The end game is definitely on par with rise and world

 

I have seen a lot of chatter about some meta builds and how elemental damage is busted right now but I don’t know enough or play at a high enough level yet to really care

 

3 is extremely divisive. People either hate it or love it. I didn't care for it much due to how the story was told from 3 POVs and felt it could be disjointed at times, but I really liked the implications of it's story and lore on the franchise overall.

4 is what most fans blame on for killing the series. It was THAT bad. I agree with them, it was the series lowest point imo.

5 is my personal favorite after 2. Most fans also agree, or at least think it's a top three game. They went back to the series roots, learned from their mistakes with 4, and all around it's a fantastic game.

We don't talk about Tactics, the PSP game and the DS game lol. Shh.

 

I remember enjoying the DS game.

 

Okay so ill just give 5 a try lol. Somehow.

I would definitely watch/read a recap of 3 though, as the main enemy in that game and their story is....brilliant haha. And it being the last in the timeline leaves so much to ponder once you beat it.

randomly decided to start up GTA V. last time I played it was on the 360.

looks great on the PS5 and loving the controller feedback. first person mode is wild lol

 

How long is Suikoden if you’ve almost beat it?

 

Not long, like 20 hours ish?

 

There's prob a guide nowadays you can look up in order to play each route and for story reasons swap POVs.....I mean I was in HS back then in the infancy of the Internet so I didn't know lol. I'm sure an optimal story playthrough makes it more enjoyable!

 

There are so many party members in Suikoden and it has the best mechanic for it. If you add someone who is way lower leveled than the rest of your party it takes just a handful of battles for their level to catch up to everyone elses. Fantastic shit.

 

Suikoden is like GOT Pokémon and it’s awesome

 

Suikoden 2 made 12 year old me cry not gonna lie. Only game besides FF7. Then I played the first suikoden and the tears came again.

 

Say no more, it’s going on my wishlist

 

I remember it was either GamePro or Tips and Tricks magazine that had a guide for I think SII and it was a crazy ass read how to get every party member in the game. Maybe it was Game Informer, old man and dabs brain fog joining forces.
