I watched Josh sawyer streaming it yesterday (he worked on it a bit after Pentiment launched) and he said the in game economy is very tight by design but based on feedback they may take a look at it

 

I haven't begun Avowed yet. I'm in the middle of a Deadfire playthrough. Plus, I've been putting a ton of time into Elite Dangerous lately, so I don't have the time to start a new game.

I literally started today and haven't picked up my jaw from the floor yet. Flawless first impression.

 

I’ve had two friends, that don’t really know each other, both tell me within hours of each other that their algorithm on FB and IG respectively are pushing negative posts about Avowed after I’ve talked to them about it the other day via text. The last part isn’t shocking, but why is there some army going against this game? Lol

It's the same bunch of cucks who are all over KCD2 and Black Myth as a "return to gaming". Like literally the first thread on Steam is asking if Avowed is woke. I fucking hate society.

there’s two different negative feedback loops going on about this game that sometimes overlap. one is the pronoun thing, the other is people mad you can’t steal or kill every NPC or romance anybody, but again these have never been staples in obsidian games and Josh sawyer didn’t even want to do romances in pillars but he had to because kickstarter backers expected it

 

I’m loving it so far. So there being an almost campaign against it was just surprising to me, since I didn’t hear the negatives the dipshits had. Now it’s not so shocking.

finished Star Wars Jedi Fallen order so probably going to take a few days off then start my next game Mafia 1
