It definitely helped in getting to some places to start a line so I felt the same way. Even after years of not playing one it bothered me in the remakes. However, I’ll take TH over no TH.

I like this one a lot. I literally just ordered it *again* because I spilled juice over my old one.

 

I want a real Wolfenstein sequel so bad. New Colossus was so good.

I’m kinda sad they “wasted” their time on Indy, except for Troy’s performance I don’t super fuck with that game.

 

Late to the convo but just wanna say I love the dual sense and I’m lucky to not have experienced any drift. Same with my switch controllers I’ve been lucky to not have had any drift

 

Driftless and maidenless

 

I got really bad stick drift in my recent dualsense and just had to get a new one but that’s almost assuredly because I keep dropping the mf’er all the time lol

 

My elite controller was in and thanks for everyone who encouraged me to get it, it's ... incredible. There really is no other like it. Plus it's gorg.

 

I've only put 90 minutes in it, but man, Avowed seems really promising, the combat is so much more fun than I expect from these kind of RPGS

 

Played Avowed for about 9hrs so far (though the game says 18hrs), and enjoying it. Lots of QoL features I want other RPGs to take such as only weapons having weight and fast travelling to camp lets you return back to where you came from.

decided to do exclusively magic for a change and now on the hunt for a flaming sword

 

You know what's nice? Unlimited sprint/not arbitrarily attaching it to the stamina system for combat!

 

Yeah it’s pretty amazing so far

 

Combat feels clunky and like I don’t have a good feel of the spacing around me in a fight, and like i’m constantly going through health and essence potions. Am I missing a lock on option? Only 3-4 hours in but don’t have the hang of it yet myself. I also have very minimal experience with first person RPGs like this which doesn’t help.

 

Did you try switching to third person? Maybe you’d like that more.

 

Thought about it, but most likely just need to work the kinks out.

 

I think it’s pretty good for first person combat like this, but I will say that it is pretty hard, I put it on easy after the bear killed me three times
