I got stuck on a section in Resistance last night and need some time to cool off. The game is surprisingly difficult even on the normal setting.

I think a lot about the newest PS controller is cool but I cannot how understand how anyone plays first person shooters remotely well without staggered sticks. It doesn’t really bother me too much in other types of games, it’s whatever, but in first person shooters it is hell. If Microsoft does stop making consoles I hope they make a third party controller for the PS

 

I like for my thumbs to be parallel and that usually means parallel sticks for fps and platformers, and staggered sticks for stuff like Hades. It really depends on how much I'm using the right stick, if at all.

I picked up my guitar to see and my index to pinky stretch goes from first fret to sixth fret which doesn't feel THAT absurd but I do think finger lengths impact my preferences

oh, and also whether i'm using left stick or d-pad to move. so... fps uses both sticks = parallel. platformers uses no sticks = parallel. Hades uses left stick only = staggered.

 

The Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded update has arrived, bringing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover and plenty of weapon balancing changes. On top of all that, it also introduces some new maps — including Grind.

This iconic map was first seen back in 2012's BO2 where it became a fan-favorite, before returning in BO4 six years later. It features a unique setting that's a far cry from the ruined battlegrounds the series is used to, as it takes place on a skatepark complete with ramps and rails.
If you head inside the shop area found in the map, you'll spot a sign on the back wall reading "03.04.25." Based on the way it's written, it's clearly referring to an important date.

It also features the recognizable Tony Hawk logo from Pro Skater, which could point toward an announcement on March 4, 2025.
