Downplaying the involvement of AI in the industry and just shrugging shoulders about it sucks. Full stop.

 

What part about The United States of America since Ronald Reagan took over makes a person believe that any part of labor savings from AI implementation will be passed onto the working middle class? You’re not even being rug pulled, they don’t even bother with the false promises anymore! The country is being stripped of its parts and being sold to the Oligarchy for the highest bid. A statistical majority of the population have been brainwashed into a primitive state where their code has been re-written to respond to threats of dismantling democracy and establishing fascism with rampant displays of Jingoism.

 

Resistance Retribution is honestly a pretty fantastic game for being almost 15 years old and a port from the PSP. The cover system is a little wonky but it is pretty impressive. It is no Gears of War but but I am happily surprised with it. I am about halfway done with it and will definitely play some of the others

Video games are political, and the industry is! I’m glad you can turn blinders on and just ignore any shitty thing these companies do, but most of us don’t want to do that! Your snide comments any time this gets brought up are beyond irritating.

 

*pushes glasses up* videos games have always been political. Mario represented the working man, Bowser the rich who think they’re entitled to everything. And so on.

edit: while this is a joke, parts of the industry and games are legit political.

I mean, it’s usually just people talking about video games. I wouldn’t consider that serious. Stuff like the Marvel Rivals team being laid off and AI stuff gets brought up because it makes sense for them to be here. And those are more on the serious side. And that’s okay. I don’t post much in this thread, but it’s pretty chill to read throughout the day.

Ah I looked in the mobile app and all I could see was Retribution so I didn't know if the actual storefront was different cuz all I remember was the psp game being added. Either way, the PS3 games were good too, especially the first game.
