I mean we all know I am the biggest lover of mid games around here, and while 8 is fine, given what's going on at microsoft it might end up hurting Obisidian.

 

Yeah an 8 from us is definitely different than an 8 from ~reviewers~

 

im excited to play avowed. i am pretty disappointed to hear a couple specifics about it in the reviews but it still looks to be checking alot of other boxes for me though.

 

Honestly, I'd love 7's and 8's a lot more if the games price didn't start with a 6.

I swear just downloading a game after it is released is faster than pre-loading and then unpacking when its released. oy.

 

Avowed seems like very much my shit but I’m not super in a hurry to pick it up

 

Andy and Greg from Kinda Funny give it a 7 and 7.5 respectively. Parris Lilly an outlier at a 9.5. Sounds like combat and world building are neat but story and characters leave a lot to be desired.

 

I forgot if it was Sawyer or Feargus but one of them said that if Obsidian was ever shut down, they'd just start up Obsidian independently again. Probably without the name of course but still pretty based. lol

 

I took some days off after beating ghost of Tsushima and I had my next game downloaded.

the next game? Star Wars Jedi fallen order. I started it on the Xbox but I remember giving it up quickly cause bad with games but this time I’m committed. I just struggle with the camera a bit lol

 

Just watched a bunch of the trailers from the State of Play.
Tides of Annihilation and Lost Soul Aside are on my wishlist now.

Loving Metaphor. Game has made me cry 5 times now. Heismay is probably my favourite JRPG character of all time already.

 

Atelier Resleriana's global version is being shut down, a reminder that gacha games are lost in time like tears in rain.

 

To be expected when it stops making money. On the other hand tho, Kings Raid is finally EoS too and that games been around since 2016 and stopped bringing in money a while back so the fact it's been THIS long is crazy.

 

I played Resleriana. It was dogshit. good riddance.
