Heck yes

 

Multiversus is dead...again. Will move to offline mode after this season. I spent many hours into that game, but had too many live service games I was playing and just stopped.

Started Dragon Age the Veilguard last night. Only played about an hour of it, but having a really fun time with it. Big downside is it looks like shit on the steam deck.

I don’t give af about console wars or exclusivity so I’m very happy more people get to play the horizon games. I don’t even really like racing games but they’re just a joy to play

Exclusivity sucks on all fronts. But the eventual MCC coming to PS5 post is gonna be such a fun day to browse social media

 

As long as everything’s cross play and it can help boost player population (especially in something like Halo or Gears) is a v good thing.

For dolphin, I would make sure you get the latest developer build from their website rather than the Play Store

For PS2 I use the last build of AetherSX2 before the developer sabotaged his own project because he went rogue and threw a fit lol. I can look up the version when I get home

Wii U has an early, early Cemu build now. Search for "Cemu GitHub ssimco" and use the latest release in ssimco's repo. Most games run like ass. Windwaker runs fine

3DS I would recommend Lime3DS directly from the Play Store

Switch I would recommend Yuzu-278, or try the last version of Sudachi if Yuzu gives you any trouble on a few games, which is a fork off of Yuzu. Both are no longer developed.

Use PXPlay for PS4 or PS5 remote play because it allows support of non PlayStation controllers. Side note, you can also use PXPlay on Android TVs which is sick. I remote play to a $20 Walmart Onn TV stick in my bedroom haha.

Otherwise, yeah, I use RetroArch for all retro games really.. Mupen64 Plus for N64

Me too! It comes with all the expansions and everything! They haven't released a good Sims game for a while so may get it too.

Microsoft is essentially selling consoles for Sony while making bank at the same time. I can only imagine the % they get for every game sold. I mean SOMEONE has to release games on that thing.

 

I just don’t get the whole sticking with hardware thing. Why bother?

 

Microsoft is smart. Get your games everywhere while making lots of money at the same time. Consoles are a dying breed.
