Idk how this stuff works, but what are the chances these people were shuffled off to other teams and then laid off quietly?

Well that’s makes me feel better than it wasn’t the doom scenario I had in my head.

 

I have 6 days until Louis’ Soirée in Metaphor and I am stressed. Time mechanics in games give me anxiety even when I do enjoy it in a game. Having a great time over here though.

 

Not sure if this helps at all, but Metaphor gives you more than ample time to do everything. Our fellow poster earlier complaining that there’s too many days they need to kill until they can attempt the final boss was on the money imo

Playing Darkest Dungeon 2 again and i’m realizing its a great tool for helping my heavy ADHD. I’ve really slowed down to read every description for items and abilities and taken time to look up what things do that I don’t initially understand and i’m doing better in runs. Strategizing much better.

idk, it feels good because there are certain games that I feel like I can never be more than average at because of my neurodivergence so it’s rewarding to excel further than I thought I could.

 

Oh I don’t doubt that. I haven’t had an issue with difficulty yet. It still just gives me anxiety thinking I’m not gonna be prepared enough when I know am though. lol

Update: I was prepared enough as expected.

 

I only played Resident Evil Remakes 2-4, 7 and Village, and the original 4.
If they really do make 6 the next remake like what some people theorized, would the plot make sense skipping 5?

 

I can’t keep track of which remakes are happening. I thought 5 was in the pipeline first.

 

I just checked and I’m about 60% done with ghost of Tsushima main story.

but then I realized I gotta do the expansion also so I was like shit still a long way to go lol. I’m about at 30 hours right now.

 

Definitely not. The plot of 6 follows 5 in a pretty big way from what I remember.

I’m downloading it now, since I wanted to play it anyway and my wife wants to know what happens after 4.

 

If anything, 4 is the least consequential of those. Plot-wise 4 is barely even connected to Umbrella/the main story until you do the Ada missions. 5 and 6 bring that back as the main focus.

 

Tbh in the entire franchise, 4 (despite being a great game) is kinda like a side story?? In the fact that it has very little plot details tying itself to the overall franchise and is very much a standalone story.

Other sidestory games y'all might like are the RE: Revelations ones! The first game takes place between 4 and 5 and features Jill and Chris and the second game takes place between 5 and 6 and features Claire and Barry.

i read about this combo online but i didn't think i would actually be able to pull it off. beat a run with almost 600 health. had a curse that gave 1 max hp after being hit. and a curse that scaled damage to a percentage of remaining health. yeahhhh...
