I'm feeling very sad about the state of the world right now, so I'm going to numb the feeling by getting a new game on Steam. I need something that can pull me away from Rivals right now.

 

This will not be coming to game pass this time around.

Very bummed about that, will probably just not play this year. Too bad, I wanna support my man Gunnar! Oh well.

 

I'm so excited for the team. It not only shows physical ISN'T dead but there's still a market for good ass turn based RPGs.

 

I have no idea what that is but that’s fantastic and I love it! Good on them and I’m very happy for their success.

 

Small (30) person dev team from France, debut game looks like what you'd expect from a AAA squeenix jrpg. Looks like it draws inspiration from Lost Odyssey and Shadow Hearts franchise. Got noteworthy VA talent and to add it's only $49.99 and the devs said that despite its price don't expect a 10 hour game lol, they said to expect 30+.

 

I’ll continue to say that it looks too good to be true. But I really fucking hope it’s true.

 

You're definitely not wrong, we've seen games come out recently from brand new studios and they go from hyped to shovelware......but I think/hope this game will blow us all away. MS is all aboard and is pushing it with its Directs, I feel they should know more than anyone what we're working with since it's getting closer to release....I do think once actual previews get into people's hands and legit people give their impressions we should know without a doubt if it's gonna live up or flop.

If this DOES succeed then it's gonna make for one hell of a story.

 

I'm very excited for that game, but to me it looks more like AA than AAA, so I hope people don't go in with the wrong expectations

I think it's somewhere in the middle imo. Obviously it isn't on the level of squeenix, Capcom, bamco, etc but I think it LOOKS AAA because I feel it shows off polish. Or it could just be it's been a while since a shiny new turn based game has released. I think it's definitely a step above eurojank, vanillaware, gust, koei Tecmo, or indies. Once we get actual previews we should know what we're actually getting.

Looking up the campaign length of High on Life and wondering if I could stand hearing Justin Roiland’s annoying ass voice for that long

 

Good on them for finally ditching the PS4 titles a full six years after the release of their newest console.

 

I just took back Yarikawa in ghost of Tsushima and they absolutely cooked with this game holy shit

 

I think 50 (or 40, don’t remember it exactly) percent of active PS players is still on PS4, so this is probably meant to be another way to pressure them to upgrade

 

I didn't mind it before I bought my PS5 I hadn't owned a playstation since PS2 lol

 

Scummy move. ESP in this economy.

 

Has anyone else watched this yet? My ears perked up at "the spiritual successor to Daggerfall."
