We absolutely need more of this. Developers teaming up, keeping each other alive for the love of the craft. Real based energy.

i stepped away for a couple days to take a breather and when i came back to it i beat the final boss on the first try lolol

 

There really is something to be said re: taking a break haha. It’s wild. I beat the final boss of Lies of P and also Orphan in Bloodborne first thing in the morning, after trying a bunch of times the night before

 

This is what happened to me with Elden Ring more than once.

 

It happened to me with Midir on my Dark Souls 3 level 1 run and I was bummed out cuz I had been streaming the day before and failing, and then tried to do warmup the next day before streaming and killed Midir during the warmup

Got the Gael kill on stream though which was awesome and intense

 

Gael may be my favorite Fromsoft boss I've fought so far. So sick

 

He's insanely good

And what a good, creative arena too. I feel like often in spacious arenas with clutter it's either negligible or it's annoying but that fight space is masterfully crafted for Gael's moveset

 

It’s funny to say about videogames, but you genuinely need sleep for your subconscious to figure out what to do with all that practice.

Every gaming session should have a midpoint power nap I guess

 

I finished Lies of P earlier this week and found the final area to be a little long and tedious. Starting things off with a gimmick boss certainly didn't help. I reached Manus around midnight and was so frustrated after a few attempts that I almost deleted the game, but I chose to just go to bed and try again in the morning. I beat him on my first attempt the next morning lol. NP seemed insurmountable at first but I respec'd my P-Organs to be more guard focused and beat him after a couple tries.

 

I felt the same way. Manus did nothing for me but NP was a really dope fight. One of those times where I didn't feel like I was hitting a wall, and didn't mind dying a bunch because I was improving a little each time.

 

Aiming for 100% in Octopath Traveler 2 but that final boss is a nightmare, even using a guide. Want to get it finished this weekend, even if I have to follow a strategy to the letter to beat this boss.

 

you absolutely need to follow a guide, and still get lucky. incredibly difficult fight

 

Thank you to the Welsh lad on YouTube whose strategy for the secret boss was flawless.

Was worried my frustration with the endgame would sour the whole experience for me, but I really loved this game. Will definitely go back to finish the first one but I need some shorter games for a while.

 

How many times are they going to try this
