Has anyone played this one? Love Devolver but there is no gameplay in the trailer. I believe it is out on switch...

 

I found out this is the third game in the series and not the first so now I’m looking at getting the actual first and second one on switch

 

The "Again" part of the title didn't clue you in that this might not be his first time?

I watched a review of the switch version and they gave it a good rating. Will pick it up.

Ahh I applaud you for doing only one from a franchise. That would be wayyyyy too hard for me lol.

Good pick on Scarlet Nexus! I really hope we get a sequel.

Lunar, PE and CC/CT are just outside my top 10. The PS1 era was for sure what influenced me the most and got me hooked.

I am such a sucker for Shoot-Em Ups. This looks great.

 

I think it's time to dive into the Persona series, huge JRPG fan and never played one. Should I play the remake of 3 first, or 5?

 

Out of those two I'd play 5. But if you want the best (imo) play 4.

 

I just replayed FF Tactics and Suikoden 2 so I wanted a more modern experience for a bit but I know 4 is considered the best by a decent portion of the fans.

Ah. Well personally I think 5 is the better of the two but hope you've the time as it's a looooooong game.

 

Persona 4 is also my favorite Persona.

Lol same. I'm at 133 hours in XBC3 and I think I'm in the last chapter now?

 

Persona 4 just has the best feel to it in my opinion. So much of it is cozy and I feel like I'm really getting to know friends as opposed to the other games.

But honestly go for whatever one appeals to you! Without spoilers 3 is about a bunch of teenagers who have to band together to stop the end of the world by shooting themselves in the head, 4 is about a small town undergoing a creepy mystery and you jump into TVs to find out what's going on and 5 is about outcasts/rebels from society changing peoples hearts by becoming thieves who travel inside a world built from people's desires.

3 and 5 are more serious in tone, but they've all got humourous moments and moments where you can just go off and talk to random people and hang out at bookstores or do archery or whatever.

re: Persona, I still need to finish 5 and I’m really interested to check out 3 with the remake, but more than anything I just wanna replay 4
