Some people are mad that they announced a literal Muppet (Gonzo) as a host before a woman.

I don't know, the whole thing is just so unsavory to me. The disingenuousness of calling it The Game Awards when they blow through most of them in between massive ad breaks and reveals irks me.

 

The game awards suck but I love them. Feel like it's the closest thing we have to those horrible E3 presentations of old.

 

i guess im getting a ps5 next year i hope we see a price drop

 

I like the game awards for the world premieres and making bets with friends on what will win and roasting each other when we're wrong

 

but wheres Steam version

 

They got rid of world premieres this year

 

They got rid of the "world premiere" intro tag but they will still be showing unannounced games

 

It’d be kinda funny if they did do away with the game announcements just to see how much of a hit it would do to viewership

 

Taking away the whole world premiere thing when there’s more world premieres this year than last year is kinda funny

 

I'll be honest it very much did the opposite for me. The Florida/twerking/social media vibe really just isn't for me and I left feeling very much uninterested.

The video itself looked cool (graphics, hair/water/etc) but the substance just doesnt work for me.

alright yeah the gta6 trailer unsurprisingly looks really great but now ill revert back to basically exactly how i felt about waiting on gta before they announced the trailer. i was/am there day one but now its more hibernation of hype.

Elden Ring DLC trailer + release date (probably March or April)
Dishonored 3
Hellblade 2 trailer + release date
Game pass drop
Death Stranding 2
Monster Hunter World 2
Skate 4
Bioshock tease

final trailer is either Elden Ring DLC or Bioshock teaser

 

Honestly I feel like with how much money BG3 has made just by itself

there is no way they would put it on Gamepass unless Microsoft gave them a million bags

 

Definitely hoping for ER dlc trailer. so impatient for this lol

 

I think BG3 will sweep too but I wouldn't be shocked by a TOTK "upset". I do hope AW2 takes home something.
