I’ve long figured remakes or whatever would happen for both eventually.

 

I heard it was gonna be RE1 but always dusk golem’s word over mine.

 

I heard RE1, as well as RE5. So this is a nice surprise because Code Veronica felt like it should’ve been next. And I like RE0 so I’m not mad about that one either

But yeah we’ll probably even get a RE6 remake eventually

 

RE6 is still the best selling RE to this day, but even Capcom knows... lol

 

Also I have currently made it my mission to finish all 3 Final Fantasy XIIIs* until my next game (SMTV) lol

XIII hate is extremely overblown

It's a good time, it certainly has heavy flaws but there's a lot of FF games I'd put below em (though I haven't played Lightning Returns)

IGN just put out a report corroborating what he said so looks like it’s legit for now.

 

Besides though, Code Veronica was the remake the fans wanted the most and it’s honestly the one that needs it the most so I’m glad that Capcom is working on one.

I’ve got I think 4 missions left in GTA 4 before the start of the finale gonna finish it today most likely

 

Caved and got the metroidvania humble bundle because of course I did

Replaying Ghost Song and falling in love with it all over again.

Had to look up where to get the last few modules and healing cores but other than that I've found most everything organically (including the "random" character encounters/interactions) and it's felt so rewarding. I love the dialogue and story, so melancholy yet so hopeful all at once. I'm paying more attention to the world building and lore this time around, there's so much I didn't get the first time. Enemy design and voices are often unsettling but the music and art are otherwise so beautiful, it's such a fascinating contrast. From an emotional standpoint this may be my favorite metroidvania (other than maybe Ori but liek fuck Moon Studios). Apparently the normal difficulty is too punishing/frustrating when you die, so if you do pick this up, do what I did and play it on "explorer," take it easy, relax and enjoy the vibes.
