I downloaded the demo on Switch last night but haven’t tried it yet. Looks really cool

 

That's like the first game I bought for my Steam Deck last year and it's deff fun. It's set up like an open world old school JRPG and it's done well.

 

Looking back at my previous posts, I don't think I was making myself very clear, so that's on me. I already know stuff like GotG and KH, I'm looking to see if anyone's played any of the lesser-known games on my list that I haven't heard of.

It’s a shame the newest Ratchet and Clank didn’t sell well because it’s genuinely great and a true showcase for the PS5.

 

I’m like halfway (maybe more? About to fight Nefarious) and god I love it so much. The big set piece with The Fixer was so fun

 

It’s wild how smooth the game jumping between rifts is, it’s like magic

 

I enjoyed it but the hype around it was very high. I am a sucker for a good platformer though and R&C are up with some of the best.

 

It did sell well and was profitable. Those reports that it was a failure were using old or incorrect data.

 

Rift Apart was amazing. I didn’t know it didn’t sell well :(

 

Nearly finished with all three Wo Long DLCs and then randomly played OW2 for the first time in like a year or whatever.

 

Hows the DLC?

 

Pretty solid. Decent amount of content, especially if you buy the season pass, which is about the same price as two of the DLCs separately. DLC bosses are so much harder than the base game's ever were.

Player's Log: Trails of Cold Steel III.

I'm on Chapter 4's Free Day now, which feels like a good stopping point.

Chapter 3 was pretty wild, ending with George shooting Angelica, although I know she's not dead.

I'm just so pumped though to get through this game and get to Cold Steel IV, or as I'm liking to think of it, Trails of Cold Azure Skies, since every fucking body is going to be riding that bus.

Slay the Spire, Hades, and Dead Cells are pretty well known, so I wanna talk a bit about why Dreamscaper is also one of my favorite rogues. The story, art, and music are stellar; the gameplay between runs is actually very engaging. There are a lot of weapons and abilities to unlock that keep the game feeling fresh. Like any rogue, it's a bit challenging at first, but once you've made some progress and collected a good amount of resources it gets easier. Anyway, I just did a run at 6 intensity rating (4 being my comfort zone, 8 being the highest). I thought I was doing pretty well but then the final boss had wayyy too much hp, I probably wouldn't have won if I hadn't stacked a bunch of leech and health recovery. So yeah, the game can get very difficult if you're into that.

 

Trying to finish the story of GTA V for the first time. This Trevor mission where you have to land a cropduster into a cargo plane in mid-flight while being shot at is fucked. I hate the airplane mechanics in this game
