Now I have to go sploring. Wish there was a way to track side missions/quests

 

my hot take? finish the game first, explore later. Otherwise you make the last dungeon so piss easy it takes any tension out of it.

 

There's so many great things about the game but I could never give it a 10/10 with how lackluster some of the quality of life content is. No maps for the levels except for the overworld, no way to track quests, no journal for quests, some wonky menu choices, etc

 

I just hit level 30 in origins and the grind is going well. I’m hoping to finish it next week since the rest of the month I just know I’m going to be busy with life.

 

Tainted Grail was super immersive to me. The worldbuilding is great. The side quests balance humor with introspection and feature characters with clashing motives in a way that reminded me of DAO. They don’t really feel like fetch quests even when they are because of the exploration attached to them. The main story is a super unique take on Arthurian lore with a tragic twist.

but… the bugs are so bad at this point now where I can’t load the map. I think this will be a brillant game once the developers update it and it’s stable on console.

Btw the second boss in Nightreign is funny. If you poison it during the first phase, it will stop every once in a while and vomit, which is pretty funny but it’s almost like it’s staggered. Cool little find.
