This one has a lot of hype behind it because of the devs. Just released 1.0

Eating a massive slice of humble pie playing Nightreign solo, i fucking suck

 

I heard nightrein solo is getting patched to not be so difficult

 

They just patched in a much higher rune rate for solo. I got to the 2nd night boss but then got fucking rekt. Was able to do the Executor quest at least.

 

I've been playing with people on LilAggy's discord and we have a 50% success rate with the bosses so far.

 

Hello VG family.

I am almost finished with The Last of Us part 2 and am looking for recs for others games like it. Not so much the story telling part but more the gameplay style.

 

Re 4 Remake

 

Maybe look into the Gears of War Trilogy, those are coming to PS5 soon and are some of the best third person shooters ever still. I also second RE4.

 

Hear me out: Days Gone.

 

Maybe Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West, and the more recent Tomb Raider trilogy? I guess if you used a lot of bow in TLOU, you could try a stealthy gameplay style in them. i feel like i'm just naming off the most popular female-led third-person shooters, though.

 

Works for me. Im quite excited for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet to come out whenever that will be.

 

The Tomb Raider trilogy, especially Rise, are bona fide masterpieces.

Found two $10 coupons in my email from best buy so I naturally used them on Nightreign.

yes they are, but I do prefer playing the Tomb Raider games as they are more game-y and more mechanically demanding.

the Uncharted games are way more banger "cinema" tho. Like jfc 2, 4 and the DLC... wow.

Oh! They added a single self revive if you are doing solo in Nightreign on the boss. Pretty cool and honestly very out of character for a From game.

 

I might have cheekily described them as what if Uncharted was good on this very website

 

I got all the way up to the 2nd boss on my first solo attempt with Wylder. It's a really really really viable way to play. Personally I'm more stoked about duos, as that is my preferred way to play, but it absolutely can be done.

That said, I might be a little more cracked than I let on, as I've been mainlining From games for months now.
