Witchbrook looks lovely but that trailer didn't really show much, what's the point of the game? Is it a life sim?

 

I think so, but probably one with a witch-school narrative

Fuck Epic. They also made my eyes roll into the back of my skull when they made themselves out to be the poor underdog cuz Apple wouldn’t put Fortnite on their store for what I remember was a reasonable reason why.

 

radiant quests need their own category in fallout 4 cause they suck seeing in your main mission log

also I hate the minutemen lmao everything about keeping up with every single settlement sucks

 

I might try the Suikoden series after I finish Expedition 33.

Suikoden 1 and 2 Remaster, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, or Hundred Heroes?

I read Hundred Heroes is a modern passion project funded from Kickstarter that has a ton of characters and story arcs…sounds good.
Any recommendations?

 

Suikoden 1 and 2 all the way. Eiyuden, while I enjoyed it the game felt like it never really loved lived up to its potential or what made the suikoden games great. Rising is a neat little metroidvania type that serves as a prologue of sorts. Suikoden 1 and 2 (especially 2) remain top tier jrpgs to this day.

 

Hundred Heroes is on sale for $24 and I got that before I saw this reply. I’ll get 1 and 2 next. Thanks!

 

Love how you wanted to get into Suikoden, so you bought a game that is not part of that series.

 

Wellllll to be FAIR eiyuden IS a spiritual successor.......but I'd never place the game anywhere near the level of acclaim of suikoden.

What would be funnier is if they bought Rising as that's a horrible ass representation of the games as it's not even a jrpg lol.

 

Loving Doom. It’s everything I wanted from the series. Highly recommended.

A lot of the people who worked on Suikoden worked on Eiyuden. It's a spiritual successor, so it's in the same way that Xenoblade Chronicles is not part of Xenogears or Xenosaga and Bloodstained is not Castlevania.

I'm not sure I understand why Eiyuden would have led you to think it was part of the series though, is it something about the meaning of the name?

 

Two completely different franchises. Devs made eiyuden because they no longer worked at Konami, who owns the rights to the suikoden IP. Both eiyuden games are just spiritual successors.

Against my better judgment even tho I haven’t beat Blue Prince, AC Origins, or Split Fiction I started Balatro. What have I done

 

FO4 gets a lot of hate for whatever reason, but I loved my time with it. Think I put in around 120 hours and still hadn't explored everything. Are you building settlements? *EDIT* Ah I saw your last post...yeah settlements are crazy to try and utilize all of them. I think I just built up the first one a bit and eventually moved on lol.
