I started over the weekend! I only got through the first invitation quest so now I'm really going to be starting. I'll probably play more tonight.

 

Dude it was jarring, my brain still feels weird

 

Nobody Saves the World is great. Everyone should play it

 

Alyx is the only VR game I’ve ever finished. It just makes me feel super sick to my stomach to use

 

It’s VR legs guys, it just takes a little getting accustomed to.

but obv only do it if it’s fun.

 

I’ve played a bit of Evil West. It’s enjoyable but not an amazing shooter but solid I guess

GPU has got some good fuckin games. Having not had a MS console since the 360, the UI and interface feels new yet familiar. Controller doesn't feel as quality as the DualSense but I'm impressed with the console as a whole.

Both of the consoles could seriously be used as weapons, they're both huge lol.

In the PS+ news, this is an awesome month. I actually JUST downloaded Requiem on GPU last night so hah, but I'm def looking forward to trying Evil West and I've heard good things about Nobody Saves the World.

 

Plague Tale Requiem is incredible.

I mean the graphics alone...

Picked up Death Stranding during the Steam Sale, I’m like midway through chapter 3 and it’s starting to really click, I’m obsessed with building roads

 

Player's Log: Trails of Cold Steel II.

Like the title of the finale says: Forward, relentlessly.

Currently at the point where I'm going to see everybody's bonding events. Already did Alisa's, and I'll do the rest tomorrow.

Can't wait for Rean to profess his love to every single main character. Also can't wait for Lloyd and him to meet so they can determine who's the biggest unintentional casanova.

At the rate I'm going, I'm angling to finish this game by New Year's Day, but we'll see.

As for what comes next, you'd think Cold Steel III would be obvious, but I might do something different. There is an anime that takes place between II and III called Northern War, and I want to watch it to get the full experience.

So while I watch that anime, I might take this opportunity to play Boundless Trails, since I'm going to be playing that game at some point anyway, and it's still unclear if it is or isn't part of the overall story.

Started playing Lies of P. Feels like a good balance for me at least of being hard enough to feel rewarding without being as brutally difficult as other souls likes

but the level up system is baffling me

If I understand it, I can’t directly level up at the stargazers (ie bonfires) but I can teleport to the hotel, level up there, then teleport back to the stargazer I teleported away from?

why make me jump through the extra hoops??

 

deleted smite so now it’s time to focus on single player GAMING
