Clair Obscur: the cutscene before the monolith Renoir fight + the battle theme is so good, I can’t believe this game exists

 

Balatro might be my favorite game ever. Gotta simmer on that a bit.

I got my 4th party member in Clair Obscur and I’m not gonna lie, I stared at their tutorial screen for a good while wrapping my head around their abilities

 

Yeah I was confused about it at first lol

 

That one also took me a minute to read lol I still don’t think I’m confident in it

 

I still don’t really get it but I have that weapon that applies 10 fortell on one hit and and then I start using dark attacks lol

 

Ima be real with you chief I’m totally winging it on builds and optimal strats for everyone

 

I know my Pictos are super unoptimized rn and it’s contributing to struggling with this current boss, but I’m resistant to changing things up so I’m just gonna try to nail all the dodges/parries lol

 

Finally finished avowed tonight. The endgame in the garden roped me back in enough so it wasn’t dreadful, but shatter and galawains were tough sledding.

overall, I’ll give it a 7.5/10. Doesn’t come close to a Skyrim for me, but it was entertaining enough for me to eventually finish.

 

Sure is interesting how this site loads up faster on a browser app I’m not logged into the site with versus the two that I am logged in on and runs janky on two apps.

i thought since gamepass has clair obscur and oblivion remaster, now would be a good excuse to play a plague tale: innocence (which i own on xbox games) and then use gamepass to also play a plague tale: requiem (which i don't own)--

waitaminute, i do own a plague tale: requiem. it's in my steam library. where did that come from? i don't remember buying it.

apparently @Penlab sent me a code almost a year ago and i forgot so it's just been sitting there

soooo, since i don't need gamepass for that, i don't feel a sense of urgency to get to it anymore. i can put it off for now and i guess just... jump straight into clair obscur

 

Just went in a circle again, please give us a mini map just to see where we are!!
