I get so annoyed by the building part of fallout and I’m only 5 hours in lol

 

i really dont wanna support randy whatshisface but i really do wanna see the next chapter of the borderlands story. yes i actually like the third one, i think it's fine that the primary antagonists are insufferable

 

i play on pc and in every bethesda game i've used console commands to, for example, respec my character (within the limits and confines of my character's level), or turn off clipping to get myself unstuck. in fallout 4 especially, i would use console commands to get building supplies, but the way i did it was, i put it into a merchant's inventory, then i bought it from them, so it's not entirely like ridiculously specific things spawned out of thin air (old cameras for the lenses or some shit), i still exchange something for them. but i mean. yknow how in skyrim ppl spawn a million cheese wheels in front of them. you could give yourself all the materials you need to build each settlement, and not do the roundabout thing with merchants that i did

 

I am on day 24 of Blue Prince, and I honestly don’t know how many more days it will take to beat, although I feel like if some things break right I may be able to get it done by day 30. I simultaneously want to be done with it and solve these last few puzzles, but I don’t want to miss anything either - it is an incredible triumph in game design and world building. It really does remind me of Myst in a lot of ways; the team should be incredibly proud.

 

I want to preface this by saying that I am legitimately high all the time, so I say stupid shit sometimes. So yes, at 7:46am I am high and that’s just the life with pain.

But hear me out with this one, since BioWare most likely won’t survive to make ME5, they should let Sandfall reboot the series.

I’m not claiming it’s a well thought out idea. I just think they’d do a good job and I still want a new Mass Effect game.

 

This is like how hot new indie directors immediately get scooped up to do the next Marvel film. And I love Marvel! Don't get me wrong! But I'd rather a promising talent not immediately get their wings clipped by flying too close to the sun, especially when that sun is the corporate machine.

 

it's just such ... cultural erasure. like we have a young french studio that just made such an incredibly french game.

the last thing I want is to americanize them. unless you're saying they should make Mass Effect more french? lol

Yes, I am. I meant a full reboot making it their own, but told in that universe.

They've proven themselves enough, they could make their own space game too. But playing this amazing game and story, I just had this thought that I wished that they could save ME because I think it's gonna die. It was also just a random thought and I wasn't really thinking that deep about it. Shit, I forgot about having EA involved until you said it. lol

 

Yeah, that's fair. Like I said to Lori, I wasn't really thinking that deep about it. I just want a savior for that series and these people could do it.

I'd be happy just getting a space game from Sandfall in general

My last run on Sunday was legendary and I thought I had reached credits cuz I made it to the Antechamber! Don’t know how I’m going to not only make sure I put a lever/room near the foundation AND get in the Antechamber again on the same run lol.

 

You only need to use the lever on foundation the one time
