I’ve been holding out for some invites to send people on here but it seems like EA has put that on hold cause I haven’t got any new info.

 

Are they still doing PC only? If that is the case, I am SOL anyway haha. I haven’t seen any news for console alphas.

 

oh no it’s been on console lol. I was playing it on the ps5.

 

I forgot to say I finally started my next game for the 12 new games this year to me I’m trying to do.

I picked fallout 4 lol. I’ve been having that itch since watching the show and I actually never played 4 so I decided to finally play it.

 

Fallout 4 is fucking great.

 

it’s so funny to only play 3 and new Vegas on repeat so I finally play 4 and I’m like wtf yo these graphics go crazy.

Fallout 4 is great cause it doesn’t have the shit and piss tint color like 3 and New Vegas

Fallout 4 is great but a lot of your enjoyment is gonna depend on how much you enjoy building and defending settlements haha

 

I loved fallout 4 but almost completely ignored all the settlement stuff

Fallout 4 had much better gun mechanics and I could craft some cool shit. Fallout 3 still my fav

 

Says something that I'd rather play the older piss and shit colored games than 4.

The only things 4 have that I consider an improvement is the gunplay and graphics, every RPG mechanic in that game is a tragic misfire

 

New Vegas is definitely still my favorite of the bunch but I really loved 4 as well


unfortunately they chose to remaster 3 instead

 

I forget their name, but whoever did the Oblivion remaster should start on New Vegas next. I assume someone else is already working on 3.

Fallout 4 is good but the base building and voiced character were missteps

 

Kinda on topic kinda off topic but I just finished reading Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow which is a fictional book all about a pair of video game developers (kinda) and I am devastated by it. I know it's a fairly popular book so a lot of y'all may have already read it but yeah it will not leave my head for a long long time

 

It’s a great book but they have this whole scene about a German word with a lot of symbolism, but they actually mistranslate it, so if you actually know German the whole scene falls apart and it totally bugs me, haha. It’s wild that nobody flagged that. You’d think the publisher would run it by a German.
