Moved up to Expert difficulty in Clair because I am wrecking shit on normal difficulty. The dodges and parries have become very consistent, think this may make a more rewarding experience for me.

I don’t know why it was so weird to me but when I started THAW I was like let me just fool around in Hollywood but the game doesn’t let you do manuals until someone teaches you them lol

 

Probably yeah, the dodge/parry system makes combat feel a lot more interactive and hitting counters feels really satisfying. If a FromSoft game was turn based, it might be something like this lol. Maybe check out some gameplay vids

I dunno haha. I’ve bounced off a few I’ve tried over the years but haven’t really dug that deep into them. I think some can get tedious if the enemies are super tanky or if you have to do the same random encounters a ton of times.
