I just don’t see a line up of games that justifies the Switch 2, for me personally. Gimme that Three Houses follow up.

FE must be getting there because Engage was largely outsourced (or another team or something, not sure) so IS must have been working on something else and that something is probably FE too

Kart and Donkey Kong will be great titles i’m sure of it but they don’t do anything for me. Same with Metroid. So while it might not be a bad line up it’s fortunately (for my wallet) not something that’ll have me rushing to pick one up. Give me an OLED model in three years once there’s a couple of big titles that are much more up my alley and i’m there. Gives me some more time away from the Zelda games that’ll have me more excited to play the enhanced versions at that point as well.

 

Lol what I did not know that, then what does Intelligent Systems even do? Maybe they are just small and need extensive external support

I think I recently heard that Bandai Namco has a studio that basically only does Nintendo support

 

Humble has a Doom+Wolfenstein Bundle if you wanna support charity instead of playing them on Gamepass

Yea I'm excited for Clair Obscura. The premise and trailers make it look like it'll have a great story. I doubt I'll get into it for another week or so but ready for it.

same, I was all in until I took 5 seconds to think about it and realized I don't care about any of the games in the launch lineup

once something cool is announced I'll get it. I only got the original Switch after Octopath Traveler was announced like a year after the console's release lol

 

Fire Emblem only had one house as far as I'm concerned

a skill tree.

dodge/parry system

accessories that you equip and can master and then use for other party members


And it all works together fucking great

 

unless something goes horribly wrong this is such an easy shoe-in for GOTY it's not even funny
