Yeah, sad news. There is a risk that Steam stops working in the future. There's another app called Crossover that should also work, it just costs money

 

treated myself to the Deluxe Clair Obscur. 35 bucks was too good to pass up.

 

Went to prep for Best Buy preorders and discovered I have a bunch of unused gift certificates but can't figure out what to get with em (I'm guessing they aren't applicable to preorders)

not sure I’ve ever seen a game draw comparisons to Lost Odyssey, Legend of Dragoon, Chrono Trigger and Sekiro all in the same paragraph

Just thinking back to the reveal and having a feeling like it could be something special, but you always have that worry because you've been let down many times before. Mostly everything Peter Molyneux ever claimed for Fable. So it feels amazing to see it live up to that. Can't wait to play it

a thought:

Clair obscur looks awesome and is getting great reviews, hell yeah! I also am very, very glad to see the length is most likely in the 20's to finish the main story with side stories maybe adding another 10-15?. I struggle with 50 hour + games now.

Speaking of 50 hour games, a question:

Never played Oblivion / skyrim, any elder scrolls. Is it worth it as a first time experience or will this game purely thrive on nostalgia plays?

I could be mistaken but I believe the GCN controller is only available from the Nintendo Store since they require NSO to be eligible for purchase.

 

Gotcha, are we still thinking it's the same preorder date as everything else though?

 

I don’t think they’ve announced when the controller is going to be available to order. It’s not listed in their store yet.

Their NSO page for the Switch 2 does state that an NSO subscription is required to be eligible for purchasing one so that at least confirms that it won’t be available at the other retailers today. One less thing to worry about adding to your cart at midnight. What’s new with Nintendo Switch Online on Nintendo Switch 2?
