Downloading Oblivion now on PS5, so stoked it’s probably my favorite Bethesda RPG

 

Maybe I’ll get it for the series x so I actually have something to play on it. But it’s more comfy playing things on the steam deck.

 

Ended up deleting Indy for Oblivion, even though I'm probably going to drop it for a bit after Clair Obscur comes out.

But damn that music really does hit. I got chills.

 

It showed up in the store on console finally before I had to leave for work thankfully!!

 

Level up system is much better.

I do wish they added the (cleared) tag on the map for dungeons once you finish them like they have in Skyrim and Fallout

Nice to see this get mentioned! I was a Kickstarter backer so I’ve been watching development for a long time. Only played an hour or two so far but I’ve had a blast.

 

Man, this Oblivion remaster is legit good. This is how to do a remaster

 

Looking for a new game with a good story and characters to get into. I think I’ll be playing RDR2 with my wife and either Cyberpunk 2077 or Death Stranding when I’m alone. I’ve been interested in those three for a while

Really hope the oblivion remaster comes to Switch 2

 

I love that they kept the music and soundtrack the exact same as the original. The original game and its day dream style art direction with the lushness and bloom effects really pair excellent with the soundtrack. Not the exact same feeling here, but soundtrack is still peak.

(Kind of wish it was redone to an extent, like an option to swap between)

also with the very odd steepness to the Cyrodil’s terrain, it’s cool that your character now moves slower and actually shanges form to hike up the steep inclines. Doesn’t even do that in Skyrim. A neat little addition.

 

since Oblivion Remaster is on Gamepass, I decided to finally start... A Plague Tale: Innocence. i only own the first one so far but hadn't played it yet and the sequel is also on Gamepass. this game is already so. damn. stressful.

also wanna do Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 (I already played the first one). any other Gamepass recs? preferably shorter games i can play on the side bc i think Oblivion is about to take over my life.
