Got it. Gonna play around later. So far I have noticed that the room itself has different paintings each draft - IE - the den, billiards, observatory on different runs have had different paintings and therefore a different letter so I was curious about how I'd figure out how to order them if it wasn't based on the room type. My next guess was that the room numbers would give me that info. Just need to notate it right in my journal and see if it starts to form a message that makes sense going by room number. If it doesn't, I'll just keep going though. I have discovered new things each run and so far on a clean / no searching run, besides asking in here just now.

The safes are annoying me! But that's a whole other thing.

I also solved (related to the lab) the periodic table puzzle though that felt obvious. I don't know where the 'boiler room' is and how to redirect power yet.

 

I had my ps5 unplugged completely for like the last two weeks and I come back to 9 things needing to be updated which isn’t bad at all.

 

Also I downloaded the demo for Norco. What a weird (and I mean like slightly unsettling weird) story and game so far. It looks like a short experience so at some point I'll buy and squeeze that in. I am sure I'm just scratching the surface. I got it after finishing Citizen Sleeper and it seeming like a similar experience then I got sidetracked by blue prince release / hype.

 

not to be that guy but…Clair obscur is multi plat right? not an exclusive? not a Microsoft IP? what obligation do they have to not drop one of their own games, outside of a gamepass day one drop? Sorry but this doesn’t strike me as even remotely evil and there’s plenty of actually evil stuff they do to call out. Idk. Big nothingburger to me

I don't really care to play Oblivion but I kinda felt the same. I don't think it's necessarily awful. Silly maybe but not awful

 

They paid for exclusive advertising of it, and are putting it on gamepass. What is the point in that? Just a bizarre decision to do both at the same time.

 

Yeah I kinda think of it more as weird and maybe dumb than anything

I get to play both, so I don't really care in the end. I think it's a shitty situation, but I definitely don't get being up in arms about it. Most of the people making a big deal about probably won't even support the studio.

 

I can’t wait to play Expedition 33 but I’m putting 100 hours into Oblivion immediately
